The Zutons have been speaking about their experience recording their next album, the follow up to 'Tired Of Hanging Around', in LA.
Talking to XFM, frontman Dave Mccabe revealed: "At first I was a bit scared at the thought of going to LA to make this album because we've never been away to record before.
Since we've got here it's been sound though, we've been buzzing off the Americans, it's taken our heads to a different place and it's brought us closer together. Sometimes you have to go a million miles away or get on a plane for ten hours to get closer together.
George (the producer) is funny as fuck, he's like a walking jukebox and he's getting a good vibe in the room. It definitely feels different with an American producer than what we're used to and I think that's a good thing for us now."
