Bemused by the lack of a substantial crowd, supporting band Lo-Fi Culture Scene took to the stage with a somewhat light hearted demeanour. Despite having not performed live for a couple of months, Lo-Fi Culture Scene displayed a tight and well rehearsed live act. Starting with 'Catch 22', the band impressed the twenty-odd people present with their dreamy guitars combining excellently with simplistic harmonies and precise drumming. Singer, Jacob, has developed extremely well into his role as the front man, with obvious similarities to Daniel of Cajun Dance Party. Future single, 'Abstract', and 'Fast Forward' were the highlights of their set, showing a great deal of maturity beyond their age. Lo–Fi Culture Scene have been given much interest in the past few months and, after this show, it is easy to tell that it is, most certainly, deserved.

Good Shoes were also understandably confused by the poor attendance, especially for a band which has sold out the Astoria. Undeterred, however, they proved to have a slick performance. Centred mainly on songs from last year’s album, 'Think Before You Speak', they really struck a chord with several members of the audience. They were unfortunately afflicted by poor sound quality thanks to poor levels set by the onsite engineers. However, Good Shoes managed to perform a nice set, including two new songs.

The bands played well, but the crowd left slightly irritated and puzzled by Artrocker who had undoubtedly not promoted the show well enough.
