Taken from the from the rather brilliant album 'Twenty One', Mystery Jets and producer Erol Alkan may have just made the song of the summer. We think anyway.
A homage to the 80s, rather than a piss-take, the light hearted synths and classic 'love story lyrics' make this a very fun track. Danceable, not overly cheesy and with great sing-a-long quality. It's the kind of nostalgia we actually like. The video is a rather enjoyable as well (note Blaine's Robert Smith hair).
It's already climbed to the top of the prestigious NME Chart (cue laughter) and getting plays on Radio 1, so expect to hear a lot more of it. Bring on the summer.
