What's that you say, there's nothing more annoying than teenage musicians?

How about teenage musicians who in their 13 or 14 years on Earth have accomplished more than most of us will in a lifetime?

Ignoring their age, Lo-Fi Culture Scene sound like an above average indie rock band with incredibly catchy and well written songs. These songs are better than a large chunk of what people choose to listen to, and the fact they are written by a group of kids who haven't yet decided what GCSEs to take should make a fair portion of musicians ashamed.

Obvious comparisons for 'Abstract' come from fellow teen stars Cajun Dance Party - listen to their recent single 'The Race' and the similarities will become very clear. However, this is no bad thing in a time of mediocre let's-be-ironic-and-make-mainstream-alternative music.

Sadly, there is a massive familiarity about the song, and the band themselves - but, given that they are in their early teens, they have plenty of time to step away from the conventions of music and have the potential to create something quite special. 'Abstract' is, like a lot of today's music, utterly harmless - there's nothing at all to hate about it, nor is there much to set it apart from the rest.

Whatever your view on 'Abstract', Lo-Fi Culture Scene are definitely ones to watch out for - the potential and talent is there, they just have to find their voice.

I'm sorry but this review makes no sense at all, you've slagged them off for being the same as everyone else and then you've given them 8/10?

They're a brilliant band who stand out from the rest because of the tunes that they write, they'll be huge.
