Breathy vocals and chiming melodies don’t exactly scream punk revolutionary, but it’s clear to see why Miss Li claims she would rather be "like Iggy Pop" than fellow lady Swede Robyn. With sparse, raw production, a fiery independence and endless unpredictability, Lykke Li is brimming with ideas and an experimental fearlessness Iggy would be proud of. An album as beautiful as this? It’s a rarity. 14 songs that leave you craving more? Well that’s just showing off. Heartmeltingly love-li.
