When Cajun Dance Party started out just over two years ago, they had four songs on their MySpace. 'Colourful Life' was one of them. It was a hugely popular song amongst the fans and even at their earliest gigs, Cajun Dance Party had their lyrics sung back at them. 'Colourful Life' shows how much Cajun Dance Party have improved, as this new single is undoubtedly the best of their short career. This is most certainly their greatest gem of summery-pop. Singer Daniel Bloomberg delivers his lyrics with such an intriguing passion that it is almost impossible to not be impressed.
Bernard Butler has shaped this band and given them a real edge that one can savour every time their refreshing sound is unleashed on you. He has definitely brought out the very best in Cajun Dance Party. With such a talent at such an early age, they can only go from strength to strength. In guitarist Robbie Stern, they have a great songwriter with such multi-instrumental skills.
Cajun Dance Party have found a great formula, where they go with it will, without a doubt, be fascinating. They will have a very colourful life.
