Mystery Jets To Play Barrett Tribute Show

Mystery Jets have announced details of a special tribute gig for the recently departed Syd Barrett, with proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
What Colour Is Sound takes place in London’s Union Chapel on September 18th.
Speaking about Barrett's influence, Blaine Harrison told the BBC: "Pink Floyd, when I was growing up, was one of the first bands that sort of made me want to make my own music, and it was kind of like a call for arms for us.
Syd he was kind of like a Peter Pan character, he kind of never grows up."
