Boy Outside: Steve Mason [Active Child Rmx]

Title line, "I'm lost and found at the base of the river" rings eeriely through the centre of Steve Mason's new single, released next week on Double Six recordings and remixed here by Active Child. History lesson time; Mason went missing for two weeks following the Beta Band's split and while working on King Biscuit Time in 2006. But this wasn't to be a Richey Edwards, as new record 'Boys Outside' goes to show. He returned to music, with a number of experimental electronic projects, reaching a highpoint this year. Oscillating dance loops, dark synths and clear cup vocals pair up with one of the most sought after remixets of the moment and hit-producer Richard X.
