In Love: Fluker Love

Drop all the chat about 'musicianship' and 'cultural authenticity' for just a moment. Sometimes music just sounds how you feel. Hearing a certain sound, a certain spatter of noise, an effect, a washover, one drumbeat or, if you're into that kind of listening, a lyric can make you sit back and just think about stuff. Fluker Love's "In Love" captures the joy and angst of being, yes "In Love". A muddle of half heard vocals, heartbeat altering beats and whirling melody the track is not experimental, it's not groundbreaking, it's not a statement on the a-political nature of today's bedroom songwriters, it's just sit-back-and-wonder angst. Only prettier.
