Titus Andronicus

Titus Andronicus' next album is set to be a "kind of" Civil War themed romp through clashing cymbals, loud rock riffs and vocals so passionate you haven't heard anything like it since the last frantic Titus Andronicus record. Written in parts on the road, away from their US homes, the band are getting a bit political, with lead lungs Patrick Stickles saying the record is "about how the conflicts that led our nation into that great calamity remain unresolved, and the effect that this ongoing division has on our personal relationships and our behavior". Members of Ponytail, Wye Oak, Vivian Girls and The Hold Steady guest as mysterious voices. You can hear it's full majesty on March 8th.

If you can't wait that long the first release from the record will be a double A side 'Four Score and Seven' featuring one of the longest tracks on the record split in two.

We've got part one for you to download below. Stay tuned for "pt.2" or buy the 7" this February.
