Not Drowning: Friendship

Friendship

Friendship are another band that have been chugging on the tropical juice that seems to be running through the veins of boys once addicted to hardcore. Loud and persistent songs come accompanied by summery touches, heavy drums are masked by light calypso riffs and you can bet they've only got flimsy white vests covering those inked sleeves. What better introduction to the duo than "Lifeguard",a new single out on 19th April thanks to the Too Pure Singles club. "We're not drowning, we're just waving" they sing cheekily over the rock production, getting down to some serious heavy petting with their instruments. We bet they divebomb, too.

"Lifeguard" will be a split release with Die Die Die!. The pair play dates through March and April before joining the Sexbeat Tour with Double Dagger this May. Find out more at http://www.myspace.com/thegoodfriendship
