Tin Men: Future Islands
The Tin Man looked for heart and found it with Baltimore's Future Islands. On this track from new album 'In Evening Air', the band play a light tin pan jam with a gruff romance that would make the wickedest of witches shed a little tear. Despite changing label since 2008's 'Wave Like Home' [we strongly recommend buying it from here] J. Gerrit Welmers, William Cashion, and Samuel T. Herring mix robot sounds with earthy heartfelt vocals as well as ever.
