New Record: The Mariner’s Children

The Mariner’s Children

Far from being soggy like Mumford and Sons or soft like Stornoway (not going to lie, we had our suspicions.....), The Mariner's Children make stomping, stonking folk-pop. This lot (and there are a lot of them) run wildly through tracks like "It Carved Your Name Into The Ground", chucking out soft warbles, shouting frantically, strumming prettily and harmonising as if it's as easy as breathing.

Need anyone else on triangle, guys?
