Infinite Body is a company selling you perfection. In 2010 we're striving to be toned and sleek, forour faces to gleam and for our minds to be filled with shop bought harmony.
Infinite Body is also Kyle Parker, an artist and musician from California USA who presents life as it is. Today he releases 'Carve Out The Face of My God' on Post Present Medium records. It's another step in his impressive body of work that encompasses everything from pithy doodlings to perfectly composed city images and wild noise music.

Hypnotic pop that straddles a space between noise music and heartfelt sentiment might be mixed up in this year's buzz-genres but he's been playing with melodic soundscape after stepping out of heavier LA bands in 2007. Like his artwork it plays with different ways of presenting every day emotions. It might be through a barrage of sound, it might be in icy minor notes, it might be through his crazy light shows.

Since 2007 he's played the opening slot on the 'No Deachunter' tour and released records and tapes with Arbor Infinity, Young Tapes, Teenage Teardrops and Monorail Tresspassing. Tying together his work in art and music In October 2009 he appeared on ASDF's benefit record with Prurient, Jamie Stewart, Lucky Dragons and Hes Smith.

Titled 'Songs for the Arctic Ocean' it's a collaborative project highlighting global climate change with songs of glacial beauty hosted on a server in Akureyri, Iceland. That's the closest to the Arctic Ocean they could find.

We could get all adjective heavy but instead listen to the third track from debut 'White Hymn'. Buy 'Carve Out The Face of My God' direct from the label of from one of the good record shops in your local area.
