Islet present ‘The Issness’

Islet

Islet are what happens when four people go stir crazy in a barn in Wales. They make noisy rock music with power bass lines, mad scratchy bits and some warbling. Playing live is what they do best and they've been entrancing their home country with frantic shows in support of bands like Teeth Mountain.

Despite not really liking the internet that much Islet have released some songs for the Turnstile Bento series. They've included two tracks, 'Jasmine' and 'Sign for Home', one of which will be on the forthcoming LP titled 'Celebrate This Place'

Listen to Islet live on the BBC here.

That's not all. Out of the barn comes 'The Issness', a posted thing that sounds quite exciting. There's an online preview and a very polite invitation to join inside.

Go to www.turnstilemusic.net or www.myspace.com/turnstilemusicspace and join the Turnstile Music mailing list to receive Bento #6 as well as past and future Bento releases.

The band will be playing on a Huw Stephens curated free entry mini-tour in January, and with Los Campesinos! in February and March.
