Psychedelic Truckin’: Mako Sica

After their Noise Attic Session sold out on Plustapes last year, Chicago's Mako Sica started work with La Société Expéditionnaire records on a three song LP. These guys look like Truckers, not psychedelic moaners stuck dealing in Tortoise style laments but the band don't do Hit and Run Jobs. Each track is a hazy stumble, unfolding gently rather than resting on dramatic payoffs or swelling sentimental strings.
