Rave Vigoda

Rave Vigoda have just finished the recording of their fourth full length proper for The Smell affiliated Post Present Medium Records and Bella Union in Europe. It's the first record to feature 'newish' drummer/keyboardist/guitarist/sample wizzard Dane Chadwick, and was recorded in a super slick manner in the depths of sunny SoCal somewhere with some pretty hip chap who does loads of PPm stuff.

The new record lies sonically between New Order, Sisters of Mercy, Duran Duran and an after hours rave in a Shoreditch warehouse-cum-parking-lot. If you don't believe me hit up their myspace and listen to the demo version of Crush (which will be one of their records 'summer smash hits' when it comes out next fall).
