Goosebumps: Sleep Over

In my day Sleep Over's were all about stuffing your face with crisps, watching films starring the very young Health Ledger and looking at pictures of Paul Nicholls. Pretty sure these girls didn't get up to that. Christa, Sarah and Stephanie make downbeat electronic pop. On their recordings - previously available on Bathetic Cassettes, now found online - lulling melodies bed down with spooky scratchy synths and doeful spirit vocals. Managing to hold a melody inside a big ball of fuzz, Sleep Over will be a sure fire hit with fans of Grouper, early Pocahaunted and Inca Ore.
