No Age, Hudson, Fall at Field Day Festival
Too few bars, too few toilets but more than enough good bands. That's Field Day folks and they've just announced some new acts for this year's festival. Joining Phoenix, Silver Apples and Caribou in Victoria Park will be Hudson Mowake, No Age, These New Puritans, The Fall and many, many more.

Serbian fortresses, Mexican drive-ins and now huge hulking coal mining diggers towering into the sky. These international festivals sure do it better than the Brits. Yes, the latest festival to announce its summer line up is Germany's Melt Festival, promising "a true industrial rave experience" between 16th - 18th July at Ferropolis. Massive Attack, the XX and Booka Shade are amongst the first big confirmations.

4AD announce new tracks on World Record Store Day
4AD have announced they'll be releasing brand new material from Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Gang Gang Dance and Tune-Yards to celebrate World Record Store Day 2010. 'Fragments From a Work in Progress' will feature rough drafts of tracks that will feature on the artists' forthcoming records.
