Milky Goodness: So Cow

So Cow

Booking agents are jerks. If I like a band (So Cow for example) and I try to 'book' them to play I don't particularly want to talk to some pedant over email, who won't be playing, probably won't be at the show and who keeps asking about "The Fee" and what calibre the hotel rooms will be! My time would be much better spent buying Gun Club records off ebay, or thinking about how my eastern European copy of 'Daydream Nation' would be better if my stereo wasn't a piece of shit. Oh well what would I know anyway? My life generally falls apart when I'm not asleep.

What I do know is that Ireland's So Cow is super 'deadly', has been bashing out lo-fi garage for years (thus years before Mr Reatards untimely death and the rise of Nobunny and the infamous Hunx and His Punx), is on underrated Chicago based Tic Tac Totally Records and will be peddling his particular brand of punk rock, and new LP 'Meaningless Friendly', around the shores of Albion in April. Pretty sweet huh?

So Cow's UK Dates (obviously after a whopping two and a half month US tour) are

Apr 24 Sex Is Disgusting (w/ MAZES) Brighton, South
Apr 25 Home Under Ground (w/ MAZES) London, London and South East
Apr 26 TBC (w/ MAZES) TBC
Apr 28 Now Wave (w/ MAZES) Manchester, Northwest
Apr 29 Weirdo Guise (w/ MAZES) Leeds
Apr 30 Three Cheers (w/ Mazes) Nottingham
