Still Corners

Switching between melancholic organ and passionate solos at the flick of a fringe, these London wallflowers are back hanging around in the darkest edges of venues. They first appeared in late 2007 (and made the odd record) but "Endless Summer" could well be the big comeback; their fey vocals, expansive guitar solos and whirly synths are perfectly pitched at a time when the boundaries between genres and scenes are as blurry as hipstamatic photographs. Is it dream pop? bedroom noodling? goth-wave? "indie"? shoegaze revival?

Fuck it. Like Stereolab, St Ettiene, MBV, or just staring at people you fancy? You'll love this.

Download "Endless Summer" below. Still Corners play The Gruff Trade EP launch tomorrow at The Lexington. On Stage at 8.00pm £6 / £5 with flyer
