Stop Whining: The Babies

NYC is still dissecting just how good or how not good an idea it is for members of WOODS and Casisie from Vivian Girls to form one band but from over here it's good to hear that friends can still just jam.

Babies make garage pop romps that retain some of the earthy folk tones of one band and add the sky high harmonies of the other. On 'Meet Me in The City' at least, it comes out sounding like the perfect thing for people who like fun, friends and most of all songs. Forget stupid politics, that's what being in a band is about, right?*
