Just when you think you don't want to hear the words blissed out, laid back, sun stroked or relaxed in relation to a song ever again, along comes another one to send you tripping to the seaside. This time with a riviera feel - there's something slinky about "The End of The Road" and we don't just mean the Boyz II Men track of the same name - Thief's Hand aka Matthew Sagot puts a gallic spin on the likes of Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils and Stunts.

Sometimes I think there's a magical formula for writing a woozy pop hit that is common knowledge to everyone but me. Oh well, back to wanting to be Madonna it is.
