Hanging Out: Berlin Festival 2010

As we prepare for Stag and Dagger and 1234 in London, The Great Escape in Brighton, Dot to Dot in Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester, Hinterland in Glasgow, Berlin is making preparations for the succinctly titled Berlin Festival on the 10th and 11th September 2010. To celebrate their 5th year in existence, they're promising a line up featuring exciting artists, new and old. Don't they always...

To be fair, this is looking good. Karin Dreijer Anderson will play the event as Fever Ray, James Murphy will be LCD Soundsystem and City Slang will curate a "20 Years of City Sland" stage, featuring Caribou, Herman Dune and Port O'Brien. On the dance front Boysnoize records will curate a stage and Peaches will perform her "Peaches Lazershow". 2manydjs will perform a DJ set and as Soulwax. Plus it's hosted at Tempelhof Airport in airplane hangers, which is kind of cool. If you don't fancy seeing a band, you can just pretend you're in Top Gun.
