Following our focus on Belfast and Birmingham comes BBC Radio 1 in Wales' (and phwoar, loads of other things) Jen Long explaining why she thinks Cardiff is wych!

Hello. Welcome to Cardiff. Yes, it does rain quite a lot. No, I don’t know Charlotte Church. And yes, they do film Doctor Who here. Well done you. Over my seven years in Cardiff I’ve been asked to write a few guides to the city I love. However, I am kind of getting sick of typing ‘Clwb Ifor Bach’, so here’s a video of me mispronouncing it instead. It is my video tour guide to Cardiff sort of thing, and a handy directors commentary. So, if you’re interested in the city, you’ve just moved here, or you’re an old resident and you just want to see me make a dick out of myself, watch on. Also, apologies for the amount of times I tell you we’re in Cardiff. Duh.

You really should come to Swn Festival

Still sad about Barfly. £1 alcopops. That was the dream.

That Italian restaurant is shit too. Sorry Frances.

There actually are a few veggie restaurants in Cardiff; they were just a bit far away from the venue. This is a good one - http://www.vegetarianfoodstudio.co.uk/

Also, check out Samoans

Music Box rules - Mark Foley (of that song by Future of the Left fame) co-runs it too. He’s also in this band - http://www.myspace.com/strangenewsfromanotherstar
