Ladyfest

Ladyfest Ten takes place from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th November across various North London venues including The Relentless Garage (ok... this one. why?), The Horatia and the Holloway Resource Centre, with a programme including music, literature, arts, craft, comedy, cabaret and much, more more. Really there's everything from football to erotic literature. We're in, are you?

The Horatia, Holloway Rd 6-10pm

Friday night and its the 'Beats Working' section of Ladyfest. Female rappers, MCs and beat makers including MC Envy and Lady Leshurr perform at The Horatia on Holloway Rd. Viv Albertine and more participate in The Launch Debate.

Saturday, 3 – 10pm @ The Relentless Garage. All day, Holloway Resource Centre.

Vile Vile Creatures, Veronica Falls and JD Sampson’s MEN perform at The Garage. Self Defence, Yoga and ooher Women’s Erotica fill the debate centre, Shazia Mirza and more get funny and if you’ve ever fancied learning to screenwrite, there’s the chance to do so.

Sunday 3 – 10pm @ The Relentless Garage, Holloway Resource Centre

Some of London’s favourites make their voices heard. Wet Dog , Trash Kit and La La Vasquez all play while Beat Boxing, Drumming, Feminist Fightback Football and a Uke Jam (?!?) happen elsewhere. Check out ‘Too Much Pussy’ in the film centre.
