Leeds: Play Patterns Festival

I remember when The Well used to be Joseph's Well and hosted such 'punk rock' all dayers as Out of Spite. There was nothing quite as terrifying as being trapped in that coffin of a room while That Fucking Tank bashed hell out of their instruments and each other. Or the dodgy food we'd pick up from the chippy down the road (don't get the veggie burger, it is NOT the safer option). This October the chaos will return.

On the first weekend of the month Play Patterns will host 3 days of new music, celebrating the great rock bands in Leeds and not Leeds. Calories, Hot Club De Paris and Johnny Foreigner headline with other performances coming from Gallops. Eagulls, The Horn The Hunt, Cowtown, or favourites Future Islands and even YES! That Fucking Tank.

Tickets are just £15 for the weekend, £8 for Saturday and Sunday or £6 for Friday evening.
