On the 5th and 6th March, Sonar will offer a Taste of Sónar' at London's Roundhouse. It's the Nandos spicy sauce of tastes because they've got none other than American MC and producer Doom - playing Europe for the first time and French dance-specialist Laurent Garnier. There will be a special Studio Theatre Stage curated by its participated, featuring the emerging talent from around the world, and more acts to be announced soon.

DOOM is Daniel Dumile Thompson [previously MF Doom, Victor Vaughn, Danger Doom and Madvilliam]. Despite enjoying success with all of his projects he's never played in Europe and never ever plays without his mask. Along with his own mythology he makes every other underground hip hop star look more-than-a-bit-lame.

On the 6th it's time for Laurent Garnier to play some new material from his latest album "Tales of a Kleptomaniac". Experimentally electronic, he mixes techno, dub and jazz house; sometimes DJing sometimes producing. He spread rave culture after discovering the Paris club scene in the late 1970s before moving to the UK. He wrote and mixed wrote anthems such as "Astral Dreams" and "The Man With The Red Face". When he plays them it will ALL kick off.
