This year's Warehouse Project line-ups have been announced, and while the big names might be missing, the events will showcase the exciting new sound of thee UK's dancefoors. As this suggests,Techno and house music have taken a back seat this year. Instead of you'll be rave-stepping, slip-hopping (and probably bum shuffling) to the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Joy Orbison, Martyn and Mount Kimbie.Pop-step supergroup Magnetic Man headline, and could be kind of interesting, but the real draw on that night is the incredible Flying Lotus, whose skitz-hop demolition disco is not to be missed. Joker will no doubt be bringing a heavy bag of crunked-up beats, while 2step techno genius Martyn will be bring some European class to the proceedings and dubstep voodoo priests Digital Mystikz will keep it deep. In danger of getting lost amid all that brilliance is Floating Points, whose intelligent and well-informed redefinition of house music undoubtedly promises to be one of the evening's highlights.
