Split Tapes (Among The Bones/Pink Priest)

We spoke to Split Tapes aka Ben Yates back in January about the reasons he likes tape and how he's pretty damn excited about releasing bands not part of the punk tradition of recording onto little bits of plastic. Now he's done it. Far from a hiss filled snarl, both sides of the Pink Priest/ Among The Bones split are epic gushes of rich sounds, flirting with shimmering gongs and edgy attempts of transatlantic (one is from the US, the other from the UK) kissing.
