Dream Date: Weed Diamond & Ancient Crux

This week I've been watching the drama adaptation of hit film '10 Things I Hate About You'. It's pretty much the same as the film only with more ridiculously 'now' references, more moping and less acting talent.

By far the worst thing about this little slice of ABC Family life is the soundtrack. For people who didn't catch the film [where were you...] it was soundtracked by bands like Letters to Cleo, Save Ferris and Semisonic. It was '99 and the TV adaptation is stuck there.

Why isn't Kat listening to bands that still exist? It would be much better if the teens were, getting their sha la la on to Ancient Crux and having a cheeky slow dance to Weed Diamond's wonky doo-wop. Travis Von Sydow's Surfing Goth meets Tim Perry's shiny stoner... it's a real match made in heaven.
