Chilly Gonzales previews “Ivory Tower” tonight

Chilly Gonzales previews his new film Ivory Tower at Screen on the Green in Islington London tonight. Described by Chilly as an "existential sports comedy" the action unfolds when 2 brothers become rivals over a woman (and the chess board). Hershell (Chilly Gonzales) is a chess purist, the prodigal son, an artist. Thadeus (Tiga) grew to be a disciplined, fierce and ruthless competitor, commercially exploiting his chess notoriety. What happens next sounds very weird but very entertaining. Whose trophy will Marsha be? Will Hershell use his Jazz Chess principles and prove that art for art’s sake can triumph? Or will Thadeus’ killer instinct prevail?

Not content with just being in the film jack of all trades, Chilly has also made the soundtrack. His new album, of the same name, is out on August 30th. Tickets for tonight's screening are available for £10
