Sunny Day Real Estate announce a UK date
Everybody is bored of being 'on hiatus'. And, after a 15 years just chilling, Sunny Day Real Estate are coming to the UK.
All four original members will be back together for the second time since re-issuing 'Diary' and 'LP2' and touring the USA last year.
The've confirmed Coachella, Soundwave and now a one off London date at the Forum on 22nd April.
The band had an amazing experience on the road and have followed by confirming shows at the Australian festival Soundwave (February / March 2010), as well as a slot on the coveted Coachella Music Festival where they are set to appear on Sunday, the 18th April. "It is incredible that we’re getting a chance to come over to the UK and play." says Nate Mendel "We are genuinely grateful that there exists a large enough store of goodwill toward the band to allow us to finally make it over there, and we plan on doing anything we can to make it a memorable trip.”
No support acts have been announced yet but tickets will go on sale on Friday 29th January at 10am. from www.kililive.com

Saturday 13th March: Sumi Ink Club/Lucky Dragons
After an outstanding performance at the ICA's "Calling Out of Context" Lucky Dragons return to the UK for a special performance. Including an afternoon session of their LA 'Sumi Ink Club' the band will take up residence in Auto Italia South East on Saturday 13th March.
